Pavel Nowak (Ostrava) Multi-instrumentalist, music and dance teacher, actor, music therapist, traveler, manufacturer of musical instruments. For more than 20 years he has led drum groups, organizes music workshops for children and adults, works as a lecturer in teaching African, modern and flamenco dances and is an active musician in many music projects across genres. His passion is African music and culture, for which he regularly travels to West Africa, where he documents local traditional customs and rituals. In his work as a music teacher and music therapist, he focuses on the effect of music and its active effect and passive perception on the body and mind of people. He believes that everyone can play, dance and sing consciously if he respects the basic rules of rhythm, learns to consciously listen and coordinate his body, relax and get rid of the fear of self-expression. With his music he tries to convey joy, deep inner experiences, a sense of human belonging and traditional world folklore traditions. Info: Email: or phone +420 604 624 596.

Based on ancient knowledge about the healing power of rhythm and music, TaKeTiNa® is a meditative and relaxing, but also a challenging and effective group process for self-development that helps us to awaken and expand our rhythmic and personal potential. It works with the original rhythmic archetypes that exist everywhere in nature and in space. The body is our instrument - with voice, clapping and steps we learn different rhythmic structures. With increasing complexity, our receptive subconscious deepens, expands and becomes multi-layered. The alternation of moments of chaos and order activates the autonomic nervous system and stimulates the body's natural resistance and healing potential. This process does not require any previous musical knowledge and invites all participants to walk at their own pace. It promotes an inner presence, creativity and musicality and enables us to recognize our individual patterns that are hindering our lives and relationships. This allows us to experience a deep sense of connection and cohesion within the group and within ourselves.

In our daily life Taketina® can help: - develop the qualities and skills necessary for living in today's complex and chaotic world - build up physical, emotional and mental resilience - to develop the experience of the present moment and inner peace - stay focused for an exceptionally long time - to open the space of perception of the moment in which several different events take place at the same time, which increases the ability to process information more quickly - Understand chaos as the creative force of life and find an effective way to deal with it and enjoy the feeling of "not knowing" TaKeTiNa® can help in music: - develop a deep rhythmic orientation - Getting to know basic rhythmic building blocks - Develop the ability to improvise in any style of music - Improve your musical skills - solve the fear of making mistakes when playing at a concert - learn to understand many different rhythmic styles of our world - Improvement of the right-left coordination

The TaKeTiNa® system was developed in 1970 by the Austrian composer and percussionist Reinhard Flatischler. Info: It is taught by certified teachers and used in a variety of settings including open public workshops, art and music institutions, therapy and social work environments, theater and leadership training programs, dance companies, and corporate training.
