Intensive Workshop of the TaKeTiNa Rhythmic Process
TaKeTiNa is a practice accessible to everyone that develops our musicality and works on—transforms—our being through rhythm.
The goal of this immersive weekend is to experience the profound and simultaneous presence and letting go in order to find the spontaneous expression of the rhythm that constitutes us and a direct connection to the flow of life.
During this two and a half day workshop (the integration nights are important!), Baptiste Vaes, accompanied by Giulia Matteucci on the surdo, will guide you through diverse rhythmic landscapes (from simple rhythms to more complex polyrhythms), combining steps, clapping, and singing to awaken your inner body awareness, stimulate receptivity (hearing, seeing, feeling, visualizing), and enhance your ability to let go of control.
Learning through the body is direct and requires no technical skills. The rhythms become a mirror of our personal process and teach us to embrace greater authenticity.
Practicing TaKeTiNa requires no prior musical knowledge and invites participants to progress at their own pace. The sessions will be led in English and translated into Italian as needed by the group.
