  TaKeTiNa helps you enter a rhythmic flow, even without any prior musical experience. In our guided rhythmic journeys you will learn to approach challenges with greater composure, release tension, and connect with your own inner rhythm. Both in life and in music.

  Immerse yourself in new rhythms every week and experience how you can synchronize with others, all while playfully developing your musical skills.

  Every Wednesday, starting at 7:00 PM (for approximately 100 minutes).

  Facilitators:

  Participation Fees:

  Single Session: €30 (this amount can be credited toward the subsequent purchase of a 6-session or 10-session pass).

  6-Session Pass (valid throughout the entire period): €150

  At Home in Rhythm – Connected through Sound. TaKeTiNa and Vocal Improvisation in Jena

  Music does not merely originate in the external world - it begins within. Rhythm resides in every step, every breath, and every movement of our bodies. Our voices carry melodies long before they form words.

  Using your body as an instrument, this special weekend offers you the opportunity to strengthen your intuition, presence, and inner stability through musical encounters, while also fostering your capacity for self-expression. Within the two complementary experiential spaces TaKeTiNa and Body Music you are invited to experience yourself in entirely new ways: powerful, playful, and deeply connected.

  Both methods utilize rhythm, voice and movement, yet they approach them from distinct perspectives. TaKeTiNa guides you deep into your embodied awareness by engaging with fundamental rhythmic structures through stepping, clapping and singing. In this process you can experience a profound sense of presence and inner stability, while simultaneously exploring how to find calm amidst complexity, how rhythmic challenges bolster your resilience and how - through repetition and flow - you can come into perfect harmony with yourself.

  Body Music, on the other hand, opens up a creative space for musical improvisation: here voice and movement become tools for self-expression, playful interaction, and sonic freedom. Through circle songs, free-form sound experiments, and body-centered vocal work, music is allowed to emerge where it is most alive: in the present moment, in the interplay between participants and in the act of truly listening to one another.

  I will be facilitating this workshop in collaboration with Alexandra Mieth.

  A whole Taketina weekend about sound, movement and rhythm.
  
Feel the groove, the pulsation, the space in between and dive into many polyrhythms.

  This workshop is open to everyone. No prerequisites is needed. It will be held in french and english.

  Between chaos and order. TaKeTiNa pure in Leipzig-Plagwitz

  This weekend, you're invited to embark on a journey through rhythm, exploring the interplay between chaos and order:

  Using your body as an instrument, you can experience stepping, clapping and singing, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the rhythm, to be a complete part of the musical experience within the group. At the same time, this process will also include challenging (chaotic) moments where you experience yourself as "outside" the rhythm.

  In this way, you can move back and forth between order and chaos - playfully developing flexibility and trust.

  Falling "out of rhythm" opens up a space for exploration and experimentation, allowing you to discover new paths. Upon "returning" to, or even "falling into," the supporting rhythm, you can experience a deeper sense of rhythmic orientation.
